Good News Maternity started in 2017 with the aim of providing easily accessible maternity wardrobe options to expecting mothers in India. What began as a pick-up and return business soon blossomed into delivery and purchase of costumes, and with the boost of WhatsApp Business and click-to-ads, they were able to offer comfort, variety and convenience to more women in their maternity journey through a simple chat.

Married couple Partiksha and Rohit Sharma of Good News Maternity wanted to offer their maternity costume rental and purchase services to all expecting moms in India, near and far, and they needed a boost in traffic and a way to capture stronger leads in the limited timeframe of pregnancy.

Timely marketing and WhatsApp connections

To reach more expecting families with their services, Good News Maternity tested different creatives like images, Reels and Carousel, or customer vs. product images on their organic feed, and they found that static ad creatives outperformed videos of static images.

Soon after they started running an Ads That Click to WhatsApp campaign, which helped them gain more high quality leads. They created a custom audience targeting Indian families, using Advantage+ placements which uses the Meta delivery system that makes the most of a budget to increase ad exposure.
